Atelier de Création Expérimentale

Art Schock was founded in the 1990s as a multidisciplinary artistic organization. In addition to creating stage and concert décor (banners, flags, clothing, furniture, etc.), Art Schock also stands out through its visual design, graphic work, and video editing creations.
Beyond the issues initially explored — such as the weight of history, the notions of choice and free will — Art Schock became part of a broader collective structure in the early 2000s under the name Atelier de Création Expérimentale (A.C.E.). Very quickly, questions surrounding the inhibition of action and power dynamics became central themes, with noise being conceived as a liberating force and a trigger for individual action, enabling people to free themselves from socio-historical and atavistic constraints.
The methods used to achieve this include the organization of meetings, conferences, and sound-based actions, as well as the creation and implementation of interactive and participatory devices.
